About the Studio
A business consulting and trading studio based in Guangzhou, dedicated to helping Nordic SMEs build effective connections with the Chinese market. The name "GZScandi" combines "GZ" (Guangzhou) with "Scandi" (short for Scandinavia) – reflecting the studio's role as a bridge between the manufacturing hub of Southern China and the Nordic region.
Many Nordic SMEs wish to work with China but lack local experience or an in-house team to make it happen. The studio was founded to bridge this gap – helping clients turn their intentions into actionable, well-managed plans.
The founder holds a degree from the University of Oslo and worked for a Norwegian diplomatic mission in China for eight years, gaining deep insight into Nordic business culture, communication styles, and trust models, as well as a solid understanding of China's supply chain operations. "Understanding Nordic, Knowing China Better" captures this dual background concisely.
